On 3-4 June 2021, the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA) and the Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research (WISER), University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, co-convened an interdisciplinary online symposium on Hinterlands.
